How can I get this gate open?
1 of 5: By using one of two inconveniently placed push buttons.
2 of 5: They're down the passages that go east and west from the central room.
3 of 5: Find them on the east and west walls.
4 of 5: The one on the west wall is the one you need. (The east button opens and closes the gate that's up the north passage.)
5 of 5: Press the western button and then return to the south passage to find that the gate is open.
