The Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles Hints
Important Note
1 of 4: Clannfather Malifant won't get resurrected when you kill him like he did on your first visit, and the walls that lead to the side areas won't open.
2 of 4: However, you're still okay -- just quicksave and quickrestore after killing Malifant to get the walls to open.
3 of 4: Note that the floor holes that lead to the hidden Fiele door will also be open, making it difficult (though not impossible) to loot the treasure containers near them.
4 of 4: If you can make it to the floor holes' buttons, you can press them twice to close the floor holes while you loot, then press them once more when you're ready to drop down.
