The Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles Hints
Taxonomy of Obsession
of 14: To get this quest, travel to Highcross (location 45 on the world map) and talk to Mirili Ulven.
of 14: If she's not in her house or wandering around near it, then wait in or near her house until she shows up.
of 14: Get her disposition up to 60 and talk to her about her research.
of 14: She'll give you a list of things that she needs you to gather for her.
of 14: Look at the list in your books inventory section to see what all you need.
of 14: The list contains most of the new ingredient items that the Shivering Isles expansion adds to the mix, so start looking around for plants to harvest.
of 14: You'll probably already have a bunch of the things she needs if you've been faithfully harvesting plants so far.
of 14: If you still need stuff, look around Highcross to begin with. You can find four ingredients, including two rare ones, in Mirili's house.
of 14: You might also want to travel to New Sheoth's Bliss district and raid Rendil Drarara's house. There are a lot of loose ingredients lying around there.
of 14: It would help to keep track of what you've handed over to Mirili so you'll know what you still have to look for. Or you can use the list I have below that'll help you find each ingredient, then turn them all over at once.
of 14: After you turn over a few ingredients, you'll get a new bestiary dialogue option with Mirili.
of 14: Talk to her about it to get the assignment of bringing her a live baliwog!
of 14: You'll have to use a Command Creature spell on a baliwog, and then lead it all the way back to Mirili, hoping it doesn't get killed along the way. (And hoping that Mirili doesn't kill it while trying to capture it.)
of 14: Even though she sells some useful Command Creature spells that you can use, it's really way more trouble than it's worth to try to find the creatures she wants and lead them to her. (Especially since she'll eventually want powerful creatures like elytra and scalons.)
