Immediate Assault Tips

  • 1 of 8: After you agree to help defend the altar, follow Ulfri onto a nearby bridge that makes a great sniping vantage point.
  • 2 of 8: Wait until a group of golden saints runs into the room down below from its east side.
  • 3 of 8: When they do, you can either let loose on them with arrows or spells, or run and hide in a nearby room while the seducers do all the fighting.
  • 4 of 8: Be warned, though, that the saints will almost certainly overpower the seducers if you don't help them out.
  • 5 of 8: The best way to help is to close the gate at the west end of Ulfri's room so the saints can't get past it. (They're too dumb to use the push button on the gate's other side to open it.) That way, they can't charge you and overwhelm you, and you and the dark seducers can shoot down at them as you please.
  • 6 of 8: After you get a journal entry about the golden saint commander being killed, finish off any other saints in the area, then find the door to the Altar of Despair in the NE corner (just east of Ulfri's starting room).
  • 7 of 8: There'll be a few remaining saints to put down in there, but there'll also be a few dark seducers to help you do it.
  • 8 of 8: After the last saint dies, talk to Ulfri and then watch as she sacrifices herself to relight the Altar of Despair.
