The Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles Hints
Relmyna Verenim
of 12: You can get referred to her by Dredhwen in the Wastrel's Purse.
of 12: You'll get a journal update and a quest arrow that you can follow to find Relmyna.
of 12: Talk to her about the Gatekeeper to be referred to someone named Nanette.
of 12: You can find Nanette Don in her house in town.
of 12: Get her disposition up to 70 and then ask her about the Gatekeeper to learn that it's vulnerable to Relmyna's tears, and that she goes out there and gets all weepy around midnight.
of 12: Alternately, you can skip Nanette and just read the letter that's on the table in Relmyna's room in the Wastrel's Purse.
of 12: Either way, go stand outside the Wastrel's Purse after 11 pm and wait for Relmyna to appear, then follow her to the Gatekeeper's area.
of 12: Stay back so the Gatekeeper won't see you until Relmyna leaves.
of 12: You'll get a journal entry saying that she dropped a handkerchief full of her tears on the ground.
of 12: It's hard to see, and is on the ground just a bit in front of where the Gatekeeper was standing during their conversation.
of 12: Either run up and grab it and quickly run back to town, or wait until the Gatekeeper walks around a bit and then sneak up and get it.
of 12: The handkerchief will transform into three special poison bottles called Relmyna's Tears. You can use them on a weapon right before striking the Gatekeeper with it to put a powerful "Harm the Gatekeeper" effect on him for 120 seconds.
