The Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles Hints
The Prince of Madness
of 10: That's you! As the Jyggalag-head thing explained, the original Sheogorath was a curse put upon him by the other Daedric princes, but now he's free and you're the only Sheogorath-y being remaining. The Shivering Isles are all yours!
of 10: After you loot the battlefield (including the two deactivated obelisks), go into the palace and talk to Haskill about your new benefits and duties.
of 10: Asking him about benefits gets you the Manipulate Weather greater power and the Sheogorath's Protection lesser power.
of 10: The Manipulate Weather power, when cast outside, will start up a randomly chosen type of weather plus a related spell effect on you. However, it's over in 15 seconds, and you can only use it once a day.
of 10: Sheogorath's Protection can be cast to give you an effect for 120 seconds that will revive you in Castle Sheogorath if you're killed with the effect still on you. Your new court healer will heal you, and Haskill will ask if you want to teleport back to the location of your death.
of 10: NOTE: As Haskill notes, these spells won't work outside of the Shivering Isles (like in the Province of Cyrodiil). If you cast them there, you'll just waste them.
of 10: Other in-palace benefits include asking the court healer for healing at any time, asking the two Daedra escorts who stand near your throne to follow you around, asking Haskill about entertainment to get a dancer sent in, taking the Sheogorath's Regalia clothing on the throne, and taking the Sword of Jyggalag from its pedestal at the east end of the palace.
of 10: Outside the palace, you can now fast-travel into and out of the Fringe, and you can go to New Sheoth's Sacellum Arden-Sul temple and stand in the Great Torch that you lit earlier to get some temporary stat bonuses.
of 10: As for your duties, the only one is to help defend places in the Shivering Isles when they come under attack by rogue adventurers or creatures.
of 10: One final note is that you can still do Sheogorath's Daedric Shrine Quest back in Cyrodiil if you haven't already. Since the original Sheo isn't around to give the quest or reward anymore, Haskill will do it instead.
