Does it matter which gate I go through?
1 of 5: Only a little.
2 of 5: Both gates lead to almost the same exact spot in the large outdoor area that comprises the rest of the Shivering Isles.
3 of 5: However, the first time you go through either of the gates, you'll gain a new greater power.
4 of 5: If you go through the Mania gate, you'll get the Blessing of Mania, which is a Frenzy up to level 12 in 30 feet for 30 seconds spell. The Dementia gate gives you the Blessing of Dementia, which is a Demoralize up to level 12 in 30 feet for 10 seconds spell.
5 of 5: Neither of the spells is leveled, so they're of the most use to beginning characters. Advanced characters probably won't benefit from either one.
