Silver Hints
Magic
1 of 3: Remember that you have to use magic in order to become better at it. If you don't use magic at all you'll end up with level-1 spells. It takes ages to defeat Silver like that. So use magic when you see fit, especially if the enemies are vulnerable to a specific kind of magic.
2 of 3: Magic should be used efficiently. If you see a particular kind of magic is ineffective on your enemy, stop using it. Even if it has a minor effect, don't waste any more mana, particularly in the beginning of the game. Only use magic when it's highly effective or when you are surrounded by enemies and want to do some blast damage.
3 of 3: Using magic is also very logical: fire should be used on ice enemies, ice on fire, earth on acid, and acid on earth. NEVER combat acid-based characters with an acid-based spell, which will only make the character stronger! That's about all you have to remember.
