How can I help the fisherman?
1 of 6: In case you don't know how to reach the fisherman, you need to walk to the screen with the gorge from the left side (via the crossroads). Then just walk to the vines at the bottom of the screen and you'll climb down.
2 of 6: All he's really looking for is some food. It doesn't have to be fish.
3 of 6: It doesn't even have to be good food.
4 of 6: Or even edible food.
5 of 6: The swampling's stew will be good enough. See another section of this file if you need to know where to find a container for the stew.
6 of 6: Then give it to the fisherman, and he'll let you have his fishing rod.
