What can I do for the oaf?
1 of 4: Talk to him to see what his problem is.
2 of 4: He hasn't watered his beans; perhaps you should help him there.
3 of 4: The bucket from the well outside the witch's cottage will work. Use it on the beans if Simon doesn't do it for you as part of the conversation.
4 of 4: Once you've done that, you should be able to take a couple of beans that are in the resulting puddle.
