How do I get past this attendant?
1 of 10: Nothing you can say is going to get him to let you through.
2 of 10: But if you could convince him to leave his post, then you could sneak through.
3 of 10: He may work around fire, but that doesn't mean he likes it.
4 of 10: A good fire alarm might get him to leave.
5 of 10: Look at the bell to the left of the souvenir stand. If you could find a way to hit it, then you could get past the attendant.
6 of 10: Don't try throwing anything at the bell directly -- for some reason, Simon won't do it. You need a more complicated device to hit the bell.
7 of 10: Try making a sling shot (or catapult, as the game calls it) with the items at hand.
8 of 10: Talk to the attendant, and he'll give you pamphlets held together by an elastic band.
9 of 10: And you can find a sapling and a rock elsewhere on this screen.
10 of 10: Use the rubber band on the sapling to make your sling shot, and then use it on the bell. The attendant will run away.
