About the Game

  • The game is far from linear.  You may try any location any time you wish, and take items you need immediately as well as those which will find their use much later. The hints here try to explain one line of solving the game; you may find your own way quite different.

    There is one fine feature in the game: It tries to help you. You will hear dozens of hints either from Simon or from people that he speaks to. Usually, the most important hint is not repeated after renewing the discussion with the same character on the same topics later. Saving the game will, of course, allow you to start all the conversations from scratch.

    You drive the game using icons. If necessary, we use here the common words like USE (hammer), GET or TAKE or PICK (magnet), GIVE (present), WEAR (hat) and so on.

    It was impossible to write all hints to be self-contained. It would be a good idea to stop reading in any moment when the hint refers to another location or to an item which is still not in your inventory and see if other hints will help you instead.
