Simon the Sorcerer 3D Hints
Inventory
The inventory (i.e., items that you may have picked up and are carrying) in "Simon the Sorcerer 3D" is crucial to solving the various puzzles throughout the game.
Simon's inventory is accessible through the "Inventory and Spellbook Interface." Press the space bar to access it and click on the item you would like to select. An alternate way to find and select an inventory item to use is to press C to cycle through inventory items (the item in Simon's hand will be displayed in a small box at the top right of the game screen).
To combine items within the inventory, click to select the first item, then double-click to select the second item. This function can sometimes be difficult to use -- be patient and try again, if it doesn't work the first time.
Using inventory items in "Simon the Sorcerer 3D" is actually quite simple. Whenever Simon stands close to an object he can interact with, his head will turn to look at the object, and a thumbnail image of the object appears at the top right of the game screen. Select the inventory item you wish to use on the object displayed, then use the ALT key
