Soldier Combat Tips

  • 1 of 7: Stay next to the window so that enemies who charge you have to go around some shelves to get at you. When one appears, quickly blast him with the Seeker to splattify him.
  • 2 of 7: To save on Seeker ammo, you can age or impulse-blast some or all of the charging soldiers with the TMD. To switch back to the Seeker, press the Aim key. If you want to use another weapon, switch to it and use it, then pick the Seeker up off the floor when you want it back. (Switching to another weapon forces you to drop the Seeker, since it doesn't take up an actual weapon slot.)
  • 3 of 7: When the soldiers stop coming, look through the window to see where the others have taken position, then strafe over to the doorway so you can take them out one at a time.
  • 4 of 7: TIP: Use the Seeker's cool "bullet time" feature to help you kill enemies. Keep holding down the Aim key after firing a bullet so you can steer it in slow-time.
  • 5 of 7: If you run out of Seeker ammo before all the soldiers are killed, switch to the assault rifle and try to lure them in for easy shooting. Most of them do like to advance from cover to cover, so keep an eye on them through the window.
  • 6 of 7: When there are only one or two left, they'll probably stay in far cover and toss grenades at you. You'll have to dodge their grenades and go after them.
  • 7 of 7: You'll know they're all dead when Barisov runs through their room, but the combat isn't quite over yet. Quickly follow Barisov and kill the soldier who's behind the door that he opens.
