What am I supposed to do in this scenario?
1 of 4: Get out, mainly. But you're also supposed to get someone else out who would die without your help.
2 of 4: Turn left from the railing and go down to the end of the hallway.
3 of 4: Turn right, then go through the doorway that's on your right.
4 of 4: After you get back up from being knocked down by an explosion, you'll get the "Save the Injured Man and Bring Him to Safety" objective. Once you complete it, you'll be returned to the present time.
