Mutant Combat Tips
1 of 5: The mutants won't notice you at first, so carefully shoot one in the leg.
2 of 5: They'll both come after you then, and it can be very hard to keep them from getting close enough to use their melee attacks.
3 of 5: Keep backing up while shooting them until you run out of space. If they're not both dead yet, either keep shooting them or start using quick melee attacks on them.
4 of 5: You can very quickly kill a mutant by shooting it in the head, but that's hard to do with the pistol since their heads keep jerking around. Still, you might have better luck trying for head shots. (You might also want to start the combat by running up to the mutants and doing some quick up-close head shots on the nearest one to hopefully take it down right away.)
5 of 5: NOTE: As before, it doesn't matter how much health you lose as long as you survive. There are no more combats before the next checkpoint save, and you can reload it right after it's made to fully restore your health.
