Singularity Hints
How can I get to Devlin?
1 of 10: The first thing to do is move slowly down the hall from the starting room until a mutant attacks. Fortunately, it's alone, and is easy to shoot down using standard retreat-and-fire tactics.
2 of 10: After it's killed, search the entire ground floor for supplies, both loose and in containers. Watch out for another mutant attacking while you're exploring the cafeteria (or as you leave it).
3 of 10: On the second floor, optionally search the classroom desks to find a note, then crouch-walk under the rubble that's partly blocking a doorway.
4 of 10: Search the next classroom's desks and supply crate, then move past it and go up the stairs to the next floor.
5 of 10: In the large library room, check the supply crate before dropping down through the nearest large floor hole and getting a checkpoint save. Check the nearby supply crate, and reload the checkpoint if you don't get E99 tech (you're undoubtedly full on health packs by now).
6 of 10: Look for loose E99 tech, then go through the wall hole to a room full of bookshelves. There's a mutant throwing books around among the shelves to your right, but you can skip him. To do so, go forward from the wall hole and turn left, then crouch-walk your way through a vent shaft to reach another room full of bookshelves.
7 of 10: Turn left and approach the nearest shelf to get a mutant to appear on its other side. Quickly head-shot it to death while it's moving the shelf, then go past it to find a rusty blue door you can open.
8 of 10: Turn right past it and go over to the dead soldier to find an assault rifle. Pick it up and turn around, then move slowly forward until a mutant pushes over a bookshelf ahead. Quickly back up, then use the Aim key to carefully head-shot the mutant to death.
9 of 10: Go through the new bookshelf gap to find another mutant to gun down. Turn left past the next doorway to find a crate to loot, then enter the next room.
10 of 10: Grab the spare assault rifle and health pack, then use the ramp to crouch-walk through the big wall hole and meet up with Devlin at last.
