What should I do?
1 of 2: It's not going to really fight you here, so you could go up the stairs and take a hit. After it hits you, it'll "echo out" (vanish) and run around without attacking you again.
2 of 2: If you want to avoid taking even that one hit, stop as soon as you go up the first set of stairs, then get out the assault rifle and turn to where you can see the echo zek. Zoom-shoot it in the head a couple of times, and it'll probably "echo out" without attacking you.
