Singularity Hints
What's the best way to handle the reverts?
of 9: First of all, crouch-walk everywhere, since they can't hear you when you do that.
of 9: If you want to sneak silently past them, you mustn't use any weapons or the TMD. Even if all you're doing is grav-pulling in an item, they'll hear it and charge you. Crouch-walking away from where you were when you made the noise usually isn't enough to avoid them, especially if they decide to spray the area with their toxic puke. (Note that bumping into them will also clue them in to your presence.)
of 9: If you want to clear each area as you pass through it, use a one-shot-kill weapon like the shotgun. I'd gotten both of its damage upgrades by this point of the game, so it was easy to kill reverts with it.
of 9: The catch is that if there's more than one revert around, the ones you didn't kill will home in on you. It's best to be around a corner so you can quickly blast them as they appear. Or use deadlock to set up a bubble for them to run into and get stuck on.
of 9: A more ammo-conservative way to kill reverts is to age them with the TMD. That'll cause them to bloat up for a few seconds and then explode, but note that they'll come after you during their few remaining seconds of life. If you have to get close to them to age them, stand up and sprint back the way you came to avoid damage. Hopefully, your running around won't alert any other nearby reverts.
of 9: Use aging and the shotgun to carefully kill off reverts as you make your way through the first tunnel. Watch for reverts running in from the next tunnel, plus one hiding in a dark alcove across from it. You should be able to finish them all off without getting injured.
of 9: After the first tunnel is clear, wait for your TMD to recharge, then age the revert you can see walking around in the next tunnel. After that, use the shotgun on the revert that's flopping around on the ground. (What is his problem, anyway?)
of 9: If that doesn't get several reverts to run in from the next tunnel, do something noisy to get their attention, then throw a deadlock bubble to get them stuck on for easy shotgunning.
of 9: Sneak past the plant tripmine, then make sure the rest of the tunnels are clear up to the spot where two large pipes block your progress.
