Checkpoint Save Tips
1 of 2: As soon as the forcefield drops, sprint past it and go left around the staircase to find a supply crate. If you're fast enough, you can loot it before the checkpoint save is made, and can then reload the checkpoint and loot it again.
2 of 2: Also, check the small balcony opposite the forcefield to find that its E99 tech has respawned.
