Trainyard Combat Tips

  • 1 of 7: As soon as you boost Kathryn onto the train car, get out the TMD and conjure up a deadlock bubble.
  • 2 of 7: Most of the first batch of soldiers will come from the left of the train car (left as you face it), so throw the bubble at the ground between the two crates over there when they start coming.
  • 3 of 7: That'll effectively block them all for the duration of the bubble, so turn to face the other way and watch for two soldiers to appear, the second of which will be carrying a riot shield.
  • 4 of 7: Shoot the first soldier with the Seeker, then impulse-blast the second one when he gets near you. After he's down, conjure up another deadlock bubble and turn to face the other way.
  • 5 of 7: As soon your first bubble disappears, throw the one you have ready at the same spot you threw the first one. That should keep the soldiers over there frozen until Kathryn is ready to pull you up onto the train car.
  • 6 of 7: Quickly look up and move over a bit if you have to in order to get to where you can grab her hand.
  • 7 of 7: You'll get a checkpoint save right after she pulls you up. Reload it to get rid of all of the remaining soldiers, thereby ending the combat.
