Mutant Combat Tips

  • 1 of 7: After Devlin runs off, move slowly toward the big wall hole with the four red arrows to the left of it.
  • 2 of 7: Two mutants will come through the wall hole at first, followed by a third one. Hold back and use your shotgun to dispose of them.
  • 3 of 7: Go through the wall hole and move toward the door ahead, watching to the left for a mutant torso to crash through some boards. Kill it with one quick shotgun blast, then turn back to the door.
  • 4 of 7: One of the mutants in the next room will bash the door down, so be ready to quickly blast him and his companion.
  • 5 of 7: Enter their room and grab the shotgun ammo, then move toward the boarded-over doorway to get two more mutants to crash in through it. (They sure love doing that sort of thing, don't they?)
  • 6 of 7: After they're blasted, go through their doorway and forward slowly until a play-dead mutant gets up. Blast him quickly before he can attack you. (Or shoot him with the assault rifle from the doorway.)
  • 7 of 7: NOTE: If you took a lot of damage, use a health pack, then go back and get the one you left in an earlier room (if you didn't get it before, that is).
