Soldier and Tick Combat Tips
1 of 2: Retreat back up the stairs and shoot or impulse-blast phase ticks as they follow you up.
2 of 2: After you get them all, go down the stairs and stand to where you can see only the soldiers' legs. You can easily shoot or age them from there.
