Singularity Hints
How can I ride one of these elevators? Neither one works!
1 of 8: Actually, the one on the right does work. It just can't lower itself down far enough to let you on because of those large canisters that are jammed under it.
2 of 8: You'll need to use a "jumping stone" of some sort to help you crouch-walk into the elevator. Look around for one of the ever-handy movable crates.
3 of 8: There aren't any in the area, but notice the swirly time-rift vortex that's hovering in the air nearby. Maybe there were crates in this room back in 1955.
4 of 8: To find out, use the TMD to expand the rift, then walk into it.
5 of 8: Turn right from where you appear and go forward a bit to find two movable crates.
6 of 8: Pick up one of the crates and go back through the time rift while carrying it. (Note that you may have to expand the rift again before you can go through.)
7 of 8: Drop it next to the right-hand elevator, then grab a few last oxygen bottles if you need to.
8 of 8: Jump onto the crate and crouch-walk into the elevator, then use its control panel to ascend and finish this objective.
