Singularity Hints
Zek and Soldier Combat Tips
1 of 8: A door will close behind you once you go far enough onto the walkway, so stay back at first to get a zek to come after you.
2 of 8: After killing it, get out a weapon that you can use to shoot the explosive barrels you see on the walkway a ways ahead. Move forward slowly until two soldiers run out through a doorway near the barrels, then quickly blow them up to kill both soldiers.
3 of 8: Get out the shotgun and run over to where the barrels were, then wait for a zek to come out through the same doorway that the soldiers did.
4 of 8: Kill it, then move around in front of the doorway to get a couple more soldiers to come out after you. If one or both of them insist on staying in the room, age them from the doorway.
5 of 8: Enter the room and look through the windows to the left to see a fatty zek trying to break through some doors. It can't quite manage it because of the two soldiers who are holding the doors shut from the other side. (TIP: Grab the supplies in the first room before going through the lock-behind-you doors to the next one.)
6 of 8: You can do this two ways. You can kill one of the soldiers while he's too busy holding the door to shoot back, after which the fatty zek will break in and kill the other soldier for you. You can then deadlock the fatty and blast him in the head until he dies.
7 of 8: Or you can use the broken-out window that's around the corner from the door to kill the fatty while he's busy bashing the door, then quickly kill the soldiers by aging or impulse-blasting them before they can shoot you very much.
8 of 8: After the fatty and the soldiers are down, watch for a couple of regular zeks to run through the doors after you. If they don't, go through the doors to get their attention.
