Singularity Hints

Radion and Soldier Combat Tips

  • 1 of 7: While the radion is still busy with the soldiers, run across the back of the area to find a supply crate. Be ready to kill a few phase ticks that attack you from the slimy alcove.
  • 2 of 7: Move over to the nearby large container for cover, being careful to not let the radion see you. Maneuvering around near the right end of that container should cause more soldiers to run in and attack the radion after it kills the first batch of them.
  • 3 of 7: That group includes a rocket-launching soldier, so they'll almost certainly kill the radion. If they do, use your gravity power to catch and return the launcher's rockets, and to grab the riot shield off another soldier if he also survived the radion. (If they don't, maneuver around and try to trick the radion into killing itself with its blasts.)
  • 4 of 7: After they're dead, move up to their end of the area. When you approach the steps leading onto the raised concrete floor, stay back so none of the soldiers in the area on the right will target you instead of the second radion that's also over there.
  • 5 of 7: Wait near the steps until the sounds of combat stop -- or go up the steps and peek if you're curious. What will probably happen is that the radion will kill all but one soldier, and he'll be able to shoot the radion without it hitting him.
  • 6 of 7: If you have the patience, wait until he kills the radion, then shoot him down. (Note that while waiting, you could be utilizing the Supply Tips.)
  • 7 of 7: NOTE: Instead of waiting for the second radion to die, you could sprint past it and into the building ahead to get a checkpoint save. Reload the checkpoint to get rid of the radion and any remaining soldiers. (Just don't forget to search the first radion's area thoroughly for supplies first.)
