Echo Zek Combat Tips
1 of 5: You should handle this echo zek just like you did the other one you met earlier in the game -- freeze it with a cryo tank, then throw a deadlock bubble around it and start blasting it.
2 of 5: There's a cryo tank in the corner to the right as you go through the fence gate. You can even pull it in before going all the way through the gate and having it close behind you (though note that the echo zek won't appear until a short time after the gate closes).
3 of 5: Back up against the closed gate and wait for the echo zek to appear. Hit it with the cryo tank when it does.
4 of 5: You'll undoubtedly be frozen yourself, so do a quick impulse blast, then throw a chrono-bubble around the echo zek as quickly as you can. He'll probably thaw right after the bubble is thrown, so shoot him as much as you can before he vanishes.
5 of 5: You could instead skip the cryo tanks and use chrono-bubbles and the impulse power. When the echo zek enters the bubble and starts running slowly toward you, impulse-blast him, then shoot him repeatedly with the shotgun as he slowly falls to the floor.
