Stonekeep Hints

Flying Skulls

  • LOCATIONS:
    The Palace of the Shadows
    The First Level of the Tower of the Shadows

    DESCRIPITION:
    - Large mobile skulls, with nasty red eyes and gaping jaws

    ATTACK CHARACTERSTICS:
    - They bite, and they spit magic
    - They also toss magickal bolts through doors at you

    SUGGESTIONS FOR KILLING THEM:
    If you have the Shadow Weapon, you'll rule the world.  Swords will do some damage, as will bows and arrows and Daggers of Penetration.  They're the only enemies that come through doors.  However, if you're on one side of a door, and they're on the other, throw the magickal throwing axe at them, and if they start to try to fire magick at you, just close the door, and it'll bounce off the door at them.  You must always be cautious of what color their eyes are.  If they're turning red, watch out, or your team with be surpised and dazed a few seconds later.
