The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Game Add-Ons (DLC) Hints
How can I get this one?
of 8: Look through the closed gate on the NE side of the chamber's main floor to see the ring on a pedestal.
of 8: If you have the Alteration spell Telekinesis (and enough magicka), you could use it to pull the ring in so you could grab it through the gate.
of 8: Otherwise, check out the large array of pressure plates in the middle of the floor.
of 8: Notice that stepping on them causes them to briefly light up.
of 8: You'll need to light up all of them at once to open the closed gate that leads to the ring's pedestal.
of 8: Even with sprinting, that can be very difficult to do, unless you use the Slow Time shout to help.
of 8: You could try just running around on the plates in circles, or some other simple pattern, until the gate opens. However, that may take awhile.
of 8: I definitely recommend getting the Telekinesis spell and practicing it (or other Alteration spells) until you're able to cast it for several seconds without running out of magicka. That way, you can ignore the pressure plate mess and still get the ring.
