Bring Elmus some Juniper Berries.
1 of 3: After finishing the "Retaking Thirsk" side quest, talk to Elmus in the Thirsk Mead Hall and ask him how the mead is.
2 of 3: He wants one portion of juniper berries, which can't be found growing anywhere in Solstheim.
3 of 3: Return to Skyrim if necessary to find or buy some, then come back and give them to Elmus to get ten bottles of Ashfire mead and a leveled amount of gold.
