The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Game Add-Ons (DLC) Hints
Investigate the ruins of Arkngthamz.
1 of 6: To get this objective, read any copy of the book "The Aetherium Wars." One can be found on a shelf in the large western cave room inside Fort Dawnguard. There's also a copy on one of the bookshelves in Farengar Secret-Fire's small study room in Whiterun's Dragonsreach.
2 of 6: The easiest way to get to Arkngthamz is from Mor Khazgur. If you haven't discovered it yet, see the Markarth section of the World Map Exploration Guide in the main Skyrim hint file.
3 of 6: Go south from Mor Khazgur toward the quest arrow. When you get close, look for a slope to the right of the path that'll get you up to where you can discover Arkngthamz.
4 of 6: Enter Arkngthamz, then move forward to where you can go down a slanting pillar. Ignore the voice that says "turn back," and keep going until you reach a huge chamber.
5 of 6: Stand and wait until the ghost of a woman named Katria talks to you. If she doesn't appear soon, try moving around the area to get her to appear.
6 of 6: Accept her as a follower to finish this objective and get the "Lost to the Ages" side quest.
