How can I leave the barrow once that gate closes?
1 of 3: It won't open until after you defeat the ghost of Haknir Death-Brand.
2 of 3: That's a very difficult and prolonged combat, so before you go any farther, you might want to turn around and leave so you can prepare.
3 of 3: Bring lots of healing potions and such, plus a strong magic bow and some high-quality arrows. A staff that can summon a powerful creature, such as a storm atronach or dremora lord, would also be good to have. Be sure to bring plenty of filled soul gems to recharge it with!
