How do crossbows work?
1 of 3: After getting a crossbow out, hold down the "Right Hand" key to get it into position to fire, then release the "Right Hand" key to fire a bolt. (Or if your targeting reticule is already pointing where you want to shoot, you don't have to hold the key down at all.)
2 of 3: The advantage over bows is that you don't have to wait for the string to draw back between the time you start holding down the "Right Hand" key and the time you release it. Of course, you do have to wait for a reload before you can fire again.
3 of 3: Also note that you have to use bolts with crossbows. All the arrows you may have saved up can still only be used with bows.
