Which of these items should I choose?
1 of 2: You can choose any item you want now, and then change it later by reading the "Black Book: Untold Legends" that's in your inventory to come back here and choose a different one from the huge book. (Note that a hotspot to return to Solstheim comes up after you choose an item.)
2 of 2: Each item manifests itself as a power that you can use once a day to get a certain short-term effect:
Black Market => summons a special dremora merchant for 15 seconds that you can buy and sell with Secret Servant => summons a special dremora butler for 15 seconds that you can give items to (and take items from if you've already give him some) Bardic Knowledge => summons a spectral drum that plays for 300 seconds and increases stamina regeneration for you and all nearby allies
