What are some of the Forgotten Vale's general features?
1 of 5: You can fast-travel away from the vale at any time (as long as there are no enemies nearby), and then fast-travel back to it when you're ready to resume the quest.
2 of 5: Note that to fast-travel back, you may have to zoom out the world map view as far as you can, and then scroll it over toward Markarth.
3 of 5: There are a few more vale sabre cats and vale deer in the first part of the vale. As in the rest of Skyrim, sabre cats will automatically attack you, and deer will run from you.
4 of 5: In other vale areas, there are frost trolls, ice wraiths, frostbite spiders, falmer, and chaurus. They work pretty much like they do everywhere else.
5 of 5: This region is much more like the rest of Skyrim than the freaky Soul Cairn region was. There are plants to harvest (including gleamblossom), ore veins to mine from (if you have a pickaxe), torchbugs to catch, and so on.
