How can I get to the first of the four wayshrines?
1 of 6: From where you entered the vale's first outdoor area, carefully drop down the rocks to the ground and kill the nearby vale sabre cat.
2 of 6: Head north, watching for another sabre cat near a frozen pond.
3 of 6: As you go north past that, the falmer who's guarding the entrance to the Forgotten Vale Cave over to the right may spot you.
4 of 6: Explore the cave if you want to find one of the game's rare shellbugs, then continue north over a hill.
5 of 6: Past the hill, follow the quest arrow to find Prelate Athring and his wayshrine.
6 of 6: Talk to the prelate to get the wayshrine raised, then activate its basin to get some of its water. (Note that it'll have a shimmery portal wall that you can use to return to Darkfall Passage, but there's no reason to go back there.)
