The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Game Add-Ons (DLC) Hints
How can I get to the boilery's door?
of 10: Start by going down the stairs that are on the right, then going along the ledge to where you can drop down onto one of the large rotating gears.
of 10: If you have at least one word of the Whirlwind Sprint shout, you could then turn left (east) and get onto the next gear, then jump your way over to the base of the adjacent stone structure. If you then move carefully along its side, you can use Whirlwind Sprint to get onto the row of gears that's to the SE. You can then go along them to get onto the platform with the boilery door.
of 10: If you're not using that shortcut, move onto the next gear to the south, ready to fight the dwarven spider that pops out of its center.
of 10: Keep moving south along the gears, fighting dwarven spiders when they appear, until you reach a door that leads to the Fahlbtharz Corridor area.
of 10: Watch out for pressure plates as you move forward and up some stairs, then take out a sphere before going up some more stairs.
of 10: Go through the door that leads back to the main Fahlbtharz area, then turn left and go up some stairs to find a red valve wheel and a big lever.
of 10: Use the valve wheel to lower a ramp that'll allow you to shortcut your way back up here if you fall into the water, then use the lever to extend some stone bridges.
of 10: You can then use the bridges to get to an area that has another dwarven ballista. After you wreck it, go to the end of the bridges and look down.
of 10: You'll need to drop down onto another series of large gears and follow them east (watching for treasure and dwarven spiders) until you can jump to a platform.
of 10: Go up the stairs to reach the boilery door, then optionally use the red valve wheel that's past it to lower some more "shortcut ramps" before entering the boilery.
