Convince Nikulas to stay in Skaal Village.
1 of 4: After you finish the "The Fate of the Skaal" mainline quest, fast-travel somewhere else and then back to the Skaal village, then talk to Edla about her son.
2 of 4: Make this objective active so you can follow the quest arrow to Nikulas, then talk to him.
3 of 4: Try to persuade or intimidate him into staying in the village. If you can't, say you'll help him get started, then give him some gold.
4 of 4: In any case, return to Edla and tell her that Nikulas has agreed to stay, and she'll give you some of Solstheim's new ingredient items as a reward.
