How can I get all of those items?

  • 1 of 11: Go a short way north of the Glacial Crevice entrance to find a large stone bridge that goes over the stream.
  • 2 of 11: Cross that bridge and continue along the path until you reach a falmer-built bridge.
  • 3 of 11: Cross the falmer bridge, then turn right and go along the path to reach a hut. Inside it, volume III of the Unknown Book series is on a table.
  • 4 of 11: Go back across the falmer bridge, then turn left and go up the stone walkway until you reach a path-split area.
  • 5 of 11: To shortcut your way past a bunch of falmer and misc. loot, go NE along the snowy rocks.
  • 6 of 11: Carefully maneuver your way over to a stone walkway, then take it up to a fenced-off frost giant's lair.
  • 7 of 11: Kill the frost giant to get the Emerald Paragon, then carefully retrace your route all the way back to the Glacial Crevice entrance.
  • 8 of 11: From there, go north down the stream until you're back near the previous wayshrine, then go back east to the small set of ruins with the paragon socket.
  • 9 of 11: Insert the Emerald Paragon into the socket, then use the teleporter to get to the Forgotten Vale Overlook area.
  • 10 of 11: Follow the stream down to the top of a waterfall, then turn right to find volume II of the Unknown Book series next to a chest.
  • 11 of 11: After you get it, go back and use the portal so you can reclaim your Emerald Paragon, then go all the way back to the Glacial Crevice entrance.
