Where can I find the Ruby Paragon and the extra loot?

  • 1 of 9: Look along the west wall of the temple's entry room to find a niche with a small interactive altar.
  • 2 of 9: Activate the altar to put the ewer on it and open a secret passage, then go through it and a door to find a room with a frost giant in it.
  • 3 of 9: Kill him to get the Ruby Paragon, then go back to the altar you placed the ewer on.
  • 4 of 9: Activate the altar to get the ewer back, then quickly back up so that you'll still be in the secret passage when the wall opening closes.
  • 5 of 9: Go back to the frost giant's room and activate the altar on its north side to open up a small side room with more treasure in it.
  • 6 of 9: Leave the side room and pick up the ewer, then go back to the closed wall opening that leads into the temple's entry chamber.
  • 7 of 9: Put the ewer on the altar that's to the right of the wall to get it to open up again, then grab the ewer and sprint through the opening before it closes.
  • 8 of 9: You can now exit the temple and use the wayshrine teleporters to get back to the ruins with the paragon socket. If you use the Ruby Paragon with the socket, you'll be able to teleport to a forest area that's incredibly hard to see in because of all the trees.
  • 9 of 9: As you blunder blindly through the trees, watch out for two frost trolls and a powerful falmer warmonger. The warmonger has Auriel's Shield on him, plus some hardened falmer armor items. There's also a small set of ruins with a treasure chest.
