The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Game Add-Ons (DLC) Hints
Restore the steam supply to the Dwemer reading room.
1 of 8: Stand and wait until Neloth opens a door, then follow him onto a dwarven elevator.
2 of 8: Use it after he does, then follow him around until he stops next to another sealed door.
3 of 8: Go back and pick up the cube he put on one of the control pedestals, then go activate the control switch to the left of the seal to remove it.
4 of 8: Follow Neloth into the Nchardak Workshop area, where you'll need to assist him in recovering two more control cubes.
5 of 8: Once you're back in the Great Chamber area, return to the two control pedestals you saw before, and activate both of them to lower the chamber's water level.
6 of 8: Help Neloth fight off the dwarven spiders and spheres that attack, then follow him along the stone walkway until you reach a sealed door that's guarded by two dwarven ballistas.
7 of 8: Activate the control switch to the left of the door to unseal it, then enter the Nchardak Aqueduct area, where you'll be getting the fifth and final control cube.
8 of 8: Back in the Great Chamber, go back up the first curving stone ramp, then look around on the platform you're on to find four boiler control pedestals. Placing cubes on all four of them will get you the next objective.
