How can I get to the door at the top of those stairs?
1 of 7: There are two ways, one of which involves more combat than the other one.
2 of 7: The combative way is to go up the steps on the west side of the room, at which time a dwarven centurion will activate and attack you along with a spider.
3 of 7: Back up so you can maneuver around while fighting them, then go back up the west steps and turn right.
4 of 7: Go along the walkway, watching out for a pressure plate, until you reach the small golden bridge that's blocking the stair access.
5 of 7: You can then drop onto the stairs and go up them, but Neloth wouldn't be able to follow you. Since you're there, you might as well use the control switch that's next to the bridge to raise it.
6 of 7: The less combative way requires you to avoid the western steps. Instead, go up the southern stairs so you can get back around to where you placed a cube to lower the water level.
7 of 7: Move on past that, then go carefully along the narrow ledge until you can drop down onto the steps. From there, you can easily access the golden bridge's control switch.
