How can I get to the secret side rooms?

  • 1 of 6: Swim over to the NE corner of the area, then use a large chunk of rubble to help you jump onto a ledge.
  • 2 of 6: Use the control switch to unseal one of the secret rooms, then kill the dwarven ballista that's guarding it.
  • 3 of 6: You can then loot the room to get several items, including some magic equipment and a Kagrumez Resonance Gem that's useful for the "Find Resonance Gems across Solstheim to complete the Kagrumez trials" miscellaneous quest.
  • 4 of 6: For the other secret room, swim over to the three control switches you used earlier to lower the three bridges.
  • 5 of 6: Use the right control switch to raise the third bridge, then swim over to the stairs that lead up to the room with the control pedestal in it that you used earlier.
  • 6 of 6: To the right of that room's entrance is the second secret room. Raising the third bridge unsealed it, so you can go inside and get the loot.
