How could I go get the boots or potions now if I don't have them?
1 of 2: You can return to Solstheim and put this quest on hold at any time by reading the "Black Book: Epistolary Acumen" book (or any other black book) in the "Books" section of your inventory. When you're ready to resume this quest, read it again to return here.
2 of 2: NOTE: The first time you leave Nchardak after reading the black book, you'll be attacked by a dragon named Krosulhah, so be ready for that.
