How can I get to the book's platform without using the shortcut?
1 of 5: Activate the "scrye" device that's directly ahead of you to extend a bridge, then go to the other end of it and wait for your chance to hop into the rotating tunnel.
2 of 5: As soon as you're in the tunnel, sprint down it to avoid the possibility of being glitched through its floor and into the toxic liquid.
3 of 5: Go to the other end of the tunnel, then wait until you can move onto a stone platform that has another scrye device on it.
4 of 5: Go over to it and activate it while dodging the tentacles that whip out of the liquid at you, then wait for your chance to reenter the rotating tunnel.
5 of 5: Stay near that end of it and watch for your chance to sprint onto the newly extended bridge. Past it is the book's platform.
