How can I get that gate open?
1 of 9: You can only open it from the other side.
2 of 9: To get around to its other side, you'll first have to get down to the large stream below you. However, dropping straight down there will be extremely damaging. (Yeah, it's rigged. You can actually fall much farther into the same amount of water later on without taking any damage.)
3 of 9: Go back along the stone pathway until you reach a spot near the top of a waterfall.
4 of 9: Drop carefully down to the rocks next to the waterfall, then go against the current so that you don't go over the fall.
5 of 9: Keep going west along the water until you reach the bottom of another waterfall, then look near it for the start of another stone pathway.
6 of 9: Follow it to a stream, then look near the other end of the stream for a dead dwarven centurion that you can loot.
7 of 9: Get on the sloping ground near the stream, then move along to where a dwarven sphere attacks.
8 of 9: Past that, move along until you reach the chest that's past the closed gate.
9 of 9: You can then use the lever that's on the floor near the gate to open it.
