The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Hints
Find Leifnarr.
1 of 6: Go to Heartwood Mill and ask Grosta what happened to Leifnarr, then volunteer to try and find him.
2 of 6: Make this objective active, then follow the quest arrow to Broken Helm Hollow.
3 of 6: Kill the two outdoor bandits, then enter the indoor area sneak up to the main bandit camp, avoiding the bone alarm that's hung in one spot.
4 of 6: After killing the bandits in the camp, look along the south wall of the area for a pull chain next to a torch.
5 of 6: Use the pull chain to open a secret door, then go through it to find a room with a dead nord in it.
6 of 6: Loot his body to get credit for finding Leifnarr, then return to Heartwood Mill. Tell Grosta that you found Leifnarr's body, and she'll give you a random, leveled weapon.
