The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Hints
Bring Alessandra's Dagger to Andurs in Whiterun.
1 of 4: In Riften, look in the Temple of Mara's basement and the adjacent Hall of the Dead building to find Alessandra. Ask if she tends the graveyard, then ask how she can make peace with her father, then agree to take the dagger for her.
2 of 4: Go to Whiterun and find its Hall of the Dead up near its NW corner.
3 of 4: Enter it and locate Andurs, then get the "Recover Andurs' Amulet of Arkay" Whiterun miscellaneous quest from him if you haven't already. You can then tell him about Alessandra's dagger to hand it over.
4 of 4: Return to Riften and tell Alessandra that you gave the dagger to Andurs. (Note that she'll say that she's giving you something as a reward, but she doesn't really.)
