Speak to Sapphire about Shadr's debt.
1 of 6: Go to Riften and find Shadr, who'll start out on the bridge that's just SE of the inn. Ask what kind of trouble he's in, then say you'll help to pay off his debt.
2 of 6: Enter the inn and find Sapphire leaning against the wall near the stairs.
3 of 6: When you ask her about Shadr's debt, the choices you get will depend on whether or not you're a member of the Thieves Guild yet.
4 of 6: If you are, you can make a deal with Sapphire that'll get you some gold, after which you'll need to go tell Shadr that you couldn't change Sapphire's mind.
5 of 6: Your other choice will be to threaten to tell Brynjolf about the debt. Sapphire will give in, and you can report success to Shadr to get an Invisibility potion.
6 of 6: If you're not a member of the Thieves Guild, and don't want to wait until you are, you'll get persuade, bribe, and intimidate options with Sapphire. Try the persuade and intimidate options first, then use the bribe option if you have to. You can then go report success to Shadr to get an Invisibility potion.
