The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Hints
Talk to Arngeir.
1 of 4: Use the stairs that are to the right of Alduin's Wall to get up to the top of the wall, then go up the stairs to the north to find an exit.
2 of 4: Fast-travel to High Hrothgar, then enter the monastery and follow the quest arrow to Arngeir.
3 of 4: Talk to him and say that you need to learn the shout that defeated Alduin. After he rants at you a bit, wait until he talks to you again.
4 of 4: After that conversation is over, follow him outside and over to a log fire, after which you'll get the next objective.
